End of a short week

3 day weeks are great, why can't they all be like this.

The weather looks a bit glum this weekend (i think it might brighten up Sunday though) so I dunno what I am doing, there's wedding stuff to organise still so I will probably be doing a bit of that.

Good to see Big Brother has finished for ever, I haven't seen any of this series at all, but apparently the winner walked out 2 days after the 'celebrities' went in at the end, good on her I say. Hopefully the nation will just get on with its collective life and forget the whole sorry episode of the last 11 years never happened.

I keep meaning to update my book list as there are quite a few i have read since I last reported, generally they have all been great, but the next one on my list is one that Sadie has finished called The Gargoyle. Both she and the person who gave it her have raved about it saying it was brilliant so I'll let you know.

That Alan Davis thing on the Tele last night was good, it was quite refreshing to see a program about growing up in the 80's that doesn't mention Rubik's Cubes, Shoulder Pads or Yuppies,  I'll be tuning in next week to see the follow up for sure. Exactly the same principle applies to the Shane Meadows thing 'This is England 86' which I thought was good too. more...
