It's been somewhat of a great day so far with a great lunch at vertu for matt's birthday and I imagine it will only improve when we go out after work to the Clifton which is apparently just down the road. I especially enjoyed the strange but spectacular chips with skins of them mmm. I'm now feeling pretty drained though I'm supposing it has a little to do with my chips being bathed in rock salt which has soaked all the water from my body and turned me into a zombie. I wish my bed was here.

It's been an absolutely rubbish week for me with my arthritis playing up again. I really feel like I haven't slept for month. So my weekend has been pretty much sofa and watching telly how exciting, oh and some programming.

It's been somewhat of strange weekend weather wise at least. I mostly have been pottering around and doing bits and pieces around the house boring stuff but things that need to be done never the less.

I decided that on Sunday I would venture out for a drink with some very old friends. To catch up is always great. Although I suffered somewhat on Monday thank god it was a bank holiday.

So the weekend was pretty slow paced and as expected the weather was pretty drab for the most part. However on Saturday I did manage to go and see toy story 3 3D and to be honest I was pretty shocked. I now understand why all these films are made in 3D, it's totally amazing in terms of how far this technology has come. I think I sat there pretty stunned for the first ten minutes or so but after that I thoroughly enjoyed what was one of Pixar's better films. What became a mini rollercoaster of emotions paired with the fascination of 3D technology made it extremely enjoyable and has made me wanting more. I think next week I will be in the cinema again getting my next dose of 3D. On the whole Toy Story 3 3D a big thumbs up.

I'm looking forward to watching toy story 3D the weekend, I don't think I've watched a 3D film for about ten years. It's unusual for me to want to see a cartoon but this new wave of 3D films has got me wondering what all the fuss is about so lets do it.  O'h and i'm having to put some all important hours of programming in.

Well one more day until the weekend and the weather is looking fantastic as per usual! Well I'm staying in for a while anyway. I am currently looking at holidays oh yes. I'm quite excited to be going with my best mate I can't wait for the sun ,sea, sand and all of that kind of thing. Hopefully I can fit a few hypnothearapy sessions in before the holiday for my fear of flying as my fingers will be doing a little more than twitching.

It's been such a relaxing weekend, nice to have done nothing for a change. Was great to see Manchester united beat Chelsea yesterday for the charity shield yesterday hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

Finally back in the office on a Wednesday. My super long weekend has come to an end, thankfully. I was quite disappointed at my first ever festival maybe not just because of the music and over priced food but generally the personalities that was there. I must admit I had fun but was generally not what I expected. I'm looking forward to my busy week back in the office.

Oh well another world cup has passed and again we couldn’t produce the goods, I guess everyone knew it was going to a tough ask against a Germany team that are probably far superior in footballing terms at least. However on a positive note and to be honest it's cushioning the blow hugely is that I have found my new car and I pick it up tonight, I’m so excited , I’m feeling like Santa is on his way but this is way better than action man, yeah!

The performance England put in against Algeria on Friday was absolutely shocking! I don't put it down totally to the players either. Mr Capello I think has got this tournament completely wrong by playing star players out of position and generally not playing his strongest squad i.e. playing Heskey instead of Joe Cole who is twice as good in every way (he's capable of scoring mainly). On a much better note I am off to global gathering next month which is exciting because I've never been to a festival before so I'm itching for that day to arrive. However we are staying in a hotel and apparently that's not really doing it the right way but it's good for me.

So the weekend saw England play USA and they are at it again! I know that USA aren’t exactly a push over anymore but to be honest they wasn’t even in the game, in fact I’m pretty sure half the USA team thought they were having a picnic not playing in a world cup tournament. It’s annoying to lose valuable points because of such a silly mistake AGAIN! Come on England sort yourselves out!

It’s been a great weekend, especially as the weather has finally decided to be lovely again. I think that sun definitely makes everybody much happier. So anyways I did lots of socialising and my weekend finished off with a fantastic buffet style meal in the garden yesterday with my housemates. Oh and I’m pretty severely burnt with my forehead looking like I dipped it in a jar beetroot, good times, roll on the summer.

My weekend was pretty great, I got to hang out with my house mates lots. I managed to drag myself out Saturday, gladly my arthritis had gone which made me the happiest I don’t think I could have taken another day of the pain. Sunday I pretty much pottered around and went to my new favourite restaurant ‘The White Horse’ in minworth I have to give their food a 10/10 it’s beyond fantastic.

It’s been a tough couple of days with my arthritis making a sudden appearance, all I can think about is bed. I haven’t actually slept properly for three days now. I’m not sure if this weekend will be a good one, I most likely will be laid out on the bed, settee, floor?

Although coming into this weekend as Manchester united fan I knew and the whole country knew united didn’t have a cat in hells chance of beating Chelsea, I’m still kind of gutted we lost the title race. Although this morning’s talk of the world cup has cheered me up no end. The fun and excitement it will bring to the office will be great and hopefully the sun is a shining for many days out at numerous beer gardens (I hope, I hope).

I have been reading allot about Ian Huntley lately, for the people who don’t know who he is, he’s the guy who killed holly wells and Jessica Chapman. I can’t believe this country, when we consider what this monster has done, for once someone in the prison system is getting what he deserves a rough ride, opposed to three meals a day, shelter and a game of cards with the screws (prison wardens). It rifles me that our system would even consider paying him compensation for what is happening to him, I sure after doing five years off his 30 – 40 years us tax payers will forking out for a new identity and house and complete new life in what type of society do we live? Sickening , its payback Huntley!

Sunday was nice I spent it with family and enjoyed a great meal. It was nice to catch up with certain family members as I don’t really get to see them too often. My weekend was great. Saturday I went shopping for  a new jacket and some other bits and pieces which just so happened to take all day thanks to my brother he’s very slow. its like shopping with your girlfriend but worse. Later that day we went out for my brothers birthday and I got to see some friends I hadn’t seen for a while which was brilliant, it’s been a while since I’ve been out properly. and had a good boogey.  My head is still a little sore though god bless Jack Daniels.

Sunday was the game all football fans had been waiting for or at least Aston Villa and Manchester United fans anyway. Of course Manchester United came out winners yet again I kind of feel sorry for the Villa supporters (Ed) but not really. Better luck next time ed.

As a man utd fan yesterday was brilliant, I do believe that no english club have beaten them at their ground for some ridiculous amount of time which is pretty good going. This week saw the news that Mr Richard Branson will launch his new bank, I don’t know about you but I’m a little sick of him. Is there anything that this man doesn’t have his trotter in?

Apparently recent surveys of 10,000 delusionals have said they would consider switching to his banking service. Have any of these people tried his cable service? Obviously not as I think they would run in the opposite direction FAST. Everyone I know has had some major problem with their services; I think anyone considering banking with virgin should be thinking again!

Now that’s my weekly moan out of the way, I think I will put my happy head on for the rest of the week.

Well another year passes by and strangely enough i feel another year older which is weird because I’ve just had a birthday and I already feel like 112 (this is not good, I wish I was 19 again).

I dont know if it’s just me but I’m absolutely loving that its snowing, at christmas time too. I managed to get my christmas shopping crammed into one manic Saturday in Birmingham city center which was least enjoyable. The experience is best described as being in a battery farm only with cold faces and loud grunting noises of angry shoppers.

Im desperatley hoping that the snow will continue over the festive period so I can have a play in it, im such a big kid!

The weekend kicked off with the Xmas do, which was on Friday. I had a great time it was nice to see what everyone was like outside of the office, of course they were great. My Saturday was spent doing a little shopping in Birmingham however the increasing amount of people made me flea quite quickly.
