Accessibility Policy

Accessibility refers to ensuring that content within websites is accessible, ie. ensuring that content can be navigated and read by everyone, regardless of location, experience, or the type of computer technology used.

Accessibility is most commonly discussed in relation to people with disabilities, because this group are most likely to be disadvantaged if the principles of accessible web design are not implemented. Failure to follow these principles can make it difficult or impossible for people with disabilities to access content. Creating accessible content should be an integral part of the web design philosophy, and accessibility features should be incorporated into all aspects of the design process. Designing for accessibility is thus as much a strategic issue as a purely technical one.

At Clevercherry.com we believe that a website should be accessible by all, regardless of disability. We also believe that as designers we should not constrain a clients wishes or desires for their site by restrictions placed upon them in order to adhere to Accessibility Compliance rules. We therefore endeavour to make every site as accessible as possible whilst maintaining the clients aspirations, as well as providing a fully accessible alternative.

From inception to completion every site that we produce is a clevercherry.com website, and should therefore look and function as such. We maintain the highest principals of design, whilst always maintaining a focus on the target audience.
